Hollycroft Ave, Hampstead Heath

Hampstead Heath is one of the highest spots in Greater London, and hosts some truly spectacular views – both of the city and the huge park itself. Town planning guidelines prevent major extension, though. When you have to do a lot with a little, you need to call in an expert who can orchestrate all aspects of a conversion in-house. This Hollycroft Avenue home was lovely on the outside but had a distinctly drab and faded look inside. As the property was located midway between Hampstead Cemetery and the West Heath itself the existing loft offered an exceptional view on each side, but the area wasn’t really usable.

LUX Construction was called in, and we immediately saw what this loft could become. Our in-house design team drew up plans for installing luxurious, modern bedroom and en-suite bath, and made sure that the room made proper use of the city and park views from both sides. We developed a new look for the entire property, and then turned to our building team to make this vision a reality.

A new fireplace surrounded by mirror-effect storage shelves makes the open plan living room seem larger than it really is, and indirect lighting throughout gives the home a distinctly modern look.
